Elunara was born under the slow-turning moon, back when the silver leaves of Cormanthor still whispered in the old tongue and the stars hung lower, friendlier, to elven kind. Folks in those parts said the night itself went quiet when she cried her first, as if listening for the tune that would carry her life. Her father was a wandering knight of Waterdeep, a good-hearted fool who could drink with dwarves and still quote elven poetry, and her mother a scholar of Corellon's temple, eyes brighter than winter frost. From them Elunara inherited a knack for wonder—and a head thick enough to go looking for it in all the wrong places. One dark year, when the shadows of Thulthantar spilled like ink across the forest, her parents fell. Elunara took up their old spear and made a promise that would shame angels: to fight for beauty, even when it's broken. Now she's a paladin, though not the stiff-backed kind. She believes the gods like a bit of mischief in their servants. She rides where moonlight limps, patching the world with laughter and steel; and astride her silver-maned unicorn, she cuts through the night like a promise made by heaven itself—the very image of grace married to audacity, holiness not forged by rule or rite, but by the perilous choice to save what others have already forsaken. They call her Dawnspear. She calls herself Elunara, fool for the light.
